N.J. ANCHOR property tax relief benefits to roll out Sep. 15

Eligible N.J. homeowners and renters will receive ANCHOR property tax relief benefits starting Sep. 15. Benefits range from $450 to $1,750. Recipients should have received a letter in August confirming their eligibility. Residents who did not receive a letter can apply online by Oct. 31. To qualify, homeowners must have owned and lived in their home on Oct. 1, 2024 with an income limit of $250,000. Renters must have leased and lived in N.J. on Oct. 1, 2024 with an income limit of $150,000. Applications are available online.
