Montclair’s Clary Anderson Arena received nearly $400,000 in donations to continue operating. It was at risk of closure because of building code violations and safety hazards. Montclair recently authorized a public utility to fund the ice rink through admission proceeds. Admission is $12 for residents and $15 for nonresidents, with skate rentals priced at $5. Montclair Town Council approved a budget of $460,444 to keep the ice rink open from September to December.
