Newark plans “Juneteenth Around the Square” Jun. 19

“Juneteenth Around the Square” planned in Newark on Jun. 19. It is from 3-6 p.m. at Harriet Tubman Square. Newark renamed Washington Park to Harriet Tubman Square in 2022. It will celebrate the park’s renaming with a barbecue, performances, and a community mural. There will also be yoga sessions and activities for children. Free admission.
