Former Bloomfield Tech not safe for schooling, Bloomfield BOE says

From Patch Bloomfield.

Bloomfield’s former vocational high school is not safe or suitable for educational uses, but the site can be used for parking, according to a statement from Bloomfield Board of Education President Kasey Dudley. The statement is in response to Bloomfield Mayor Jenny Mundell’s written update sharing the district toured the site on Mar. 6 for potential uses, including bus parking. Plans for the building to become a recreation space remain unchanged, Mundell wrote. The Jersey Bee published an explainer about the former Bloomfield Tech site and ways people can get involved in the decision-making process for its future use.
