Nutley was recognized as a “healthy town up-and-coming” in 2024 by the N.J. Health Care Quality Institute’s Mayor Wellness Campaign, a statewide initiative to meet community health needs. In 2024, Nutley provided community blood drives, health screenings, and programs supporting mental and physical health.
