Youth ages 15+ can register for Newark recreation’s lifeguard certification program

Registration is open for Newark recreation’s 2025 lifeguard certification program for ages 15+. The certification course is $100 and attendance is required for all classes. Three-day sessions meet from 5-9 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
