Eligible N.J. residents can get fresh, locally sourced produce delivered to their home through the Coalition for Food and Health Equity’s Rapid Response Hunger Relief Program. The program offers short-term support for people in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and Union Counties who meet at least two of the following requirements: ages 60+, disabled or receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, experiencing unstable housing or financial difficulties, and food-insecure. Applicants can enroll by phone.
