Newark’s John F. Kennedy Recreation Center offers recreational spaces and programs for residents. It includes a weight room, gaming center, basketball courts, boxing center, and multipurpose room for other programs. It is in the Central Ward and open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Register for programs by phone or online.
