REGIONAL NEWS

Warehouse Life, a workers’ rights group, filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration to obtain records surrounding the deaths of three Amazon workers in N.J. who died in 2022. The lawsuit comes after an OSHA inspection summary found no evidence of wrongdoing by Amazon. Warehouse Life is seeking more information about the deaths and potential working conditions, including a summer heat wave. The lawsuit would require the U.S. Department of Labor and OSHA to fulfill public records requests that have been filed since August.
