Prenatal breastfeeding class planned by Perinatal Health Equity Initiative on Nov. 13 in East Orange. The class is from 6-7:30 p.m. at 280 S. Harrison St. It is recommended for people who are at 32-26 weeks in their pregnancy. Attendees are encouraged to bring a support person. Fee is $50.

Open house event of The Greenway project planned by N.J. environmental protection and NJ Transit on Nov. 13 in Newark. Project updates are from 6-8 p.m. at Park Elementary School. Spanish interpretation available. The Greenway is a nine-mile former rail line through Essex and Hudson Counties that will be converted into a park with safe paths for commuters and recreational use. The Newark section will span 0.8 miles from Branch Brook Park to Broadway and is expected by 2025.

The free, informal event begins at 2 p.m. at EqualSpace ES550 Tech and Innovation campus, a co-working space. An intro circle begins at 2:30 p.m. and attendees will gather at a local brewery or restaurant after the event ends at 5 p.m.
