NJDEP accepting public comment on fourth fossil fuel plant application in Ironbound until Oct. 29

New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is accepting public comment until Oct. 29 on Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission’s application to construct a fourth fossil fuel plant in Newark’s Ironbound neighborhood. There is no set date scheduled for the PVSC’s vote on the project. Its next public meeting is planned for Nov. 14 at 12 p.m. on Zoom. Public comment is accepted by email addressed to Kevin Greener at NJDEP.
