West Orange Town Council will vote Sep. 24 on an ordinance that would ban public consumption of alcohol and cannabis. The law would allow police to shut down public gatherings where alcohol and cannabis are present. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. Public comment will only be accepted from in-person attendees.
