LaMonica McIver to represent N.J.’s 10th Congressional District through Jan. 3

LaMonica McIver won the N.J. special general election for the state’s 10th District, according to the Associated Press. McIver ran against Carmen Bucco and received 81% of votes. She will finish Rep. Donald Payne Jr.’s congressional term and represent parts of Essex, Hudson, and Union Counties through Jan. 3, 2025.
