Eligible low-income N.J. residents can use funds from Work First, a five-year state cash assistance program, toward menstrual product purchases of up to $14 per month. The program is limited to ages 18-50 and covers the costs of tampons, menstrual cups, and sanitary pads. Work First applicants must be working, actively looking for work, or participating in an approved work activity. Eligibility screenings and applications are available online.
