Garden State Equality is accepting applications for youth entering grades 10-12 to join its 2024 leadership camp, “Changemakers Youth Leadership Initiative.” It will take place at Fairview Lake YMCA in Newton from Aug. 18-23. Attendees will participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion workshops, discussion groups that challenge biases, and activities aimed at fostering a sense of social responsibility. Transportation and programming costs will be fully covered. Applications accepted by email until Jul. 10.
