Newark City Council approved a 25-year tax abatement for L+M Development Partners last week after delaying the vote in April amid hazardous living concerns about another L+M property in Newark. The developer’s new project will expand the Newark Museum of Art and construct 200 market-rate apartments and 50 affordable residential units.
