Former Columbia High School coach Leonard Klepack was found guilty of sexually abusing a 17-year-old student athlete in the 1980s after admitting to having a relationship with them. Klepack coached track and field for 30 years at the school, which faces a lawsuit alongside former athletic director Robert Curcio for negligience in supervising Klepack. New Jersey survivors of childhood sexual abuse can report their experiences to law enforcement until the age of 55 or seven years after they make the discovery of the injury tied to abuse.
