New N.J. law expanding state-backed certification increases contracting opportunities for eligible LGBTQ+-owned businesses, state officials say. About 150 N.J. businesses registered for certification earlier this month. To apply, businesses must have at least 51% LGBTQ+ ownership. It is free to obtain and active for five years.
