New Jersey police departments will increase enforcement of seatbelt safety laws through Jun. 2 as part of the national “Click it or Ticket” campaign. Police checkpoints and presence will increase on N.J. roads. Seatbelt violations can result in a summons and $46 fine.

Rental property owners and real estate agencies in North Jersey, including Newark, are being accused of discriminating against Section 8 voucher recipients. New Jersey prosecutors released findings of probable cause in 10 cases, indicating that landlords and real estate agents had denied housing to government rental assistance recipients, a violation of the N.J. Law Against Discrimination. Real estate agencies include Boutique Realty, Realty Mark LLC, Rovazo Realty Group, Sokolich Real Estate Enterprises, and Weichert Realtors. Exact addresses of the rental properties were not released.
