Branch Brook Park plans free “Women’s Health Event” on May 8 in Newark. The event is from 1-6 p.m. in the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center. There will be sexual assault and violence education resources, HIV test kits, child and maternal health resources, and screenings, including mammogram, pap smear, and blood pressure. Registration is not required.
