The former West Orange library is being transformed into affordable senior housing, with construction set to be completed this summer. It will include 65 senior apartments for eligible applicants ages 62+. Unlike typical affordable housing that is set for a 30-year limit, these units are restricted as affordable housing in perpetuity. Rent will range from $315-$1,124 per month, according to a June 2023 report.
