Bloomfield Civic Band to perform “Tubby the Tuba and other Tunes” on Apr. 14. The concert begins at 3 p.m. at Bloomfield Middle School. Bill Kaufman, Frank P. Ortega, and Jalm Vanamo will play classic marches and more. Tickets are $8 in advance; $10 at the door with flyer, for students, and for seniors; and $15 at the door. Free for children under 12. Bloomfield recreation is accepting enrollment for its 2024 spring high school programs starting Apr. 15. Residents can take an upcycling class on Apr. 15, introductory crocheting class on Apr. 16, or a mentorship class on Apr. 17. All programs are $5. Registration available online.
