Frank Sanchez, the principal of Columbia High School, was recently arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault. The charges are related to an incident that took place in 2023 involving a Black female student, according to the Black Parents Workshop, an advocacy group offering legal support to the affected teenager. Sanchez has been on administrative leave since early January without clarification on whether his leave relates to the assault allegations.
