New Jersey’s local film and television industry is set to expand as 14 municipalities and four counties join the Film Ready N.J. Program, including Newark and West Orange. The program trains communities to accommodate and attract movie and television producers, with the education covering the basics of film and television production and setting standards for attracting production crews. The next Film Ready Workshop to train more communities is planned for Apr. 23 at the Morris Museum.
