Essex County Payne School of Technology students can now earn college credits through a new dual enrollment program with Bloomfield College of Montclair State University. Eligible students can take up to six credits in game design, with coursework counting towards both their high school diploma and a Bloomfield College of Montclair State University degree. Bloomfield’s Game Design program offers training in game design methodology, computer imaging, and 2D and 3D design.

New Jersey Senate candidate and current member of the House of Representatives Andy Kim filed a lawsuit on Feb. 26 challenging the “county line,” a design that gives primary ballot placement to candidates with county party endorsements. If successful, a judge would expel the line in time for the June primary election and push back against the support that Kim and Tammy Murphy had recently received from powerful party leaders.
