Troop 60 Maplewood plans a troop meeting and open house on Feb. 1. The event is from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the Civic House, 124 Dunell Rd. in Maplewood. Attendees will learn about summer camp, community service, and outdoor skill-building opportunities. Add to 📅.

South Orange Middle School Home and School Association to host “Trivia Night” fundraiser on Feb. 2 in Union. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. at Knights of Columbus, 1034 Jeanette Ave. Tickets include two drinks and the night will feature a silent auction. Tickets are available for purchase online. Add to 📅.

South Orange to host “Erasing South Orange Borders Run-Walk” on Saturdays starting Feb. 3. The run begins at 8 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m., hosted by resident and founder of Erasing Essex’s Borders Stephanie Lawson Muhammad. Each route covers 3.1 miles and participants will explore South Orange borders that have historically impacted African Americans. The events are held each Saturday in February. Gallery at Green Door Studio, a Millburn-based art school, to open “To Palestine with Love” art exhibition on Feb. 3. The exhibit can be viewed through February on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by appointment. It features a curated selection of visual art including paintings, sculptures, and photographs. Tickets can be purchased online and all proceeds will benefit HEAL Palestine, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Gaza’s children. Add to 📅.

New Jersey’s liquor license laws are undergoing significant changes for the first time in almost a century, with restrictions on breweries and distilleries also being loosened. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages can now be offered, including collaborations with outside vendors and the opportunity to host unlimited onsite events. License holders must use or sell licenses that have remained inactive for two sequential license terms, according to the new law.
