New Jersey Senate recently passed a bill aimed at recouping unpaid tolls, which annually amount to $117 million across the five largest tolling authorities in the state. If signed into law, the bill would establish an amnesty program for drivers with high toll balances and enable the Department of Transportation to enforce and adjudicate motor vehicle tolls and billing issues.
