Java Love Coffee Bar seeks donations for its 2023 “Holiday Food Drive” through Jan. 18 in Montclair. Donations of canned goods, gently used or new coats, and shelf-stable goods can be dropped off at 49 Church St., 224 Bellevue Ave., 127 Watchung Ave., or Central Presbyterian Church.

CFBNJ plans application assistance event for New Jersey SNAP, a food assistance program for low-income families, Jan. 5 in Montclair. CFBNJ members will help eligible families and individuals with their application from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Toni’s Kitchen, 73 S Fullerton Ave. Applicants must have social security numbers, birthdates, and monthly income of all household members.
