Turtle Back Zoo to host 2023 “Holiday Lights” stroll Nov. 24 to Dec. 31. Admission is by donation. Lights will be on display Friday through Sunday until Dec. 3 then open daily until Dec. 31. The event includes a carousel ride, face painting, farm, reptile house, photo with Santa, and gift shop for families from 5-9 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food, new toys or gently-used winter coats are encouraged. Newark plans its 2023 “Holiday Festival” Nov. 25-Jan. 7. December events include a festival scavenger hunt, a Black business crawl, candlelight special at Newark Symphony Hall, and Kwanzaa festival and marketplace at NJPAC.
