Prescription-free birth control will become available in N.J. in early 2024

Prescription-free contraceptives will become available in N.J. at participating pharmacies in early 2024. Two state medical boards approved the rules after the state passed legislation to make birth control pills, patches, and rings available without a doctor’s note.
