Essex County plans free “Vaccines for Children” event on Oct. 10 from 2-6 p.m. at Watsessing Park in Bloomfield. Children through 18 years are eligible and must be enrolled in Medicaid or uninsured or be an indigenous American to qualify. Appointments by phone are required.
